The process in order to get compliance

Process for complying:

Application and issue of an import permit is carried out electronically under the TradeNet Phase 5 System.

- Submission of application form and necessary
- Reviewed by Technical Committee (Comprising of Agricultural Committee, Consumer Committee and Industrial Committee)
- Site visit
- Then reviewed by Board (Comprising of members from Min: of Environment, Fire Dept, Agriculture, Police Dept., Local Govt.).

 

Cost estimate to get compliance:

1. Issue of a license or renewal of a license for the import or export of a dangerous chemical( Rs. 6,000) 2. Issue of a license or renewal of a license for the manufacture, sale, storage, distribution or trading in of a dangerous chemical (Rs. 2,000). 3. Issue of a permit or renewal of a permit for the import or export of a pesticide or an extremely dangerous chemical (Rs. 200).
