The process in order to get compliance

Process for complying:


1. NPPO processes and issues Plant Import Permit.
Pre-Market Approval and Health Certificate are required (See file attached).

Plant Import Permit fee: Rs.50.00

Certificate of Inspection fee: Rs.100.00

 

 

Once I have it, what do I have to do:

 

1. Applicant notifies NPPO of arrival of consignment for inspection.

2. NPPO officer verifies documents submitted by applicant and undertakes physical inspection of consignment and issues a Certificate of Inspection upon payment of fee.

Required Documents to process:

1. Plant Import Permit application form
2. Commercial Invoice
3. Bill of Lading
