The process in order to get compliance

Process for complying:

1. Submit letter of application to Director of National Parks & Conservation Service


NOTE: Registered traders are required to seek prior approval from DVS for blood and organ samples (Primates).

2. Processing and screening of application
3. Once application is approved, permit is delivered
4. If application is not approved, applicant will be informed

Fees Payable:

CITES permit: Rs 300

Scientific Research: No fees

For protected endemic/native species, an MTA will also be signed before export is allowed. Application to be done in person on a form provided at the NPCS office.
