The process in order to get compliance

Process for complying:

Export permits are approved and delivered via TradeNet Phase 5 System on the same day provided all conditions are met.
Export Certificate are also approved and delivered on the same day.

Receipt of Application for the Export of live animals/products of animal origin.

Register by Division of Veterinary Services.

Veterinary Service carries out an inspection of live animals or animal products.

NOTE: (1)Exporters should submit invoice when applying for an export permit.
    (2). Companies exporting goods for consumption on ship should produce ship handler certificates.
    (3). Freeport companies exporting controlled products should produce their freeport certificates.

1-2 days
Cost estimate to get compliance:

Fees: Rs 15 per certificate.

Required Documents to process:

Need approval from the Ministry of Agro-Industry & Food Security

Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) for monkeys and for other endangered spicies.
